How To Stop The Emotional Rollercoaster & Take Control Of How You Feel
On many occasions, people approach me because they say, “I’m living in an emotional rollercoaster. How can I stop this? How can I change it?” I usually answer back with another question,
“Are you aware of what’s inside and outside your control?”
Because if you really think about it, the only thing you can really control is your thoughts and your choices. That’s pretty much it. So what if we started focusing on the things we CAN control? Instead of those we can’t? How different would our lives be? Simple right, yet powerful if you actually apply it.
When something happens, don’t focus on the situation. You can’t change that. Instead, think about how you choose to view it and what you are going to do next. Mindset is a powerful thing. Will you choose to view it in a more positive, productive way?
